This is an original 2016 Global MX – 5 Cup race car.
The car has the stock ND.1 motor and there were no performance improvements made to ensure that it is eligible for the Global MX-5 Cup ND1 series. Only safety and driver enhancements were added.
Money was never saved on anything this car needed and it was serviced by RP Performance Team at Summit Point during Summer and before that it was serviced by Sick Sideways Racing which is a multiple championship-winning race team in the Global MX-5 Cup series, most recently with an overall championship win for the ND1 spec class in 2019, with several other Global MX-5 championships in prior years. RP Performance has itself also won multiple races with SCCA.
