This vehicle is 1 of 250 produced with chassis and engine modifications that were designed to give Nissan an edge in competition. This vehicle is a direct competitor to the Honda Civic Type R from the late ’90’s. This vehicle is a cult classic with its Neo VVL SR16VE engine and distinctive “Red Top” valve cover. This engine employed many upgrades including 8 fuel injectors to make 200HP from 1.6L. This vehicle held the record for highest specific output from a naturally aspirated production engine in the late ’90’s until Honda released the S2000.
