Selling my turnkey 500+whp turbo e36 racecar that was built for hillclimbs. Car is basically a road racing E36 with a fast spooling twin scroll turbo system which makes it great for time trials, time attack or hill climbing. Cage is 6 point with drivers foot protection. Car has SCCA time trials log book. Currently the car is limited to 500-525WHP due to current fuel pump but if the pump is upgraded the combination of turbo/manifold and built engine could easily put down 650WHP or more.
Cortex boost controller with 6 cabin selectable presets so you can choose boost level on the fly. Currently there is a boost by gear map in the controller. Aftermarket RaceTCS traction control module as well. The ABS system was upgraded to the Mk60 system. Between the traction control and the ABS, you can drive like a gorilla and just slam on the gas and brake and not worry about skidding…if that is your style anyway. The suspension was completely refreshed with mostly AKG solid mounts, rear ball joints, rear wheel bearings, adjustable camber arms, adjustable front AKG CAB, rebuilt stock M3 control arms, etc.
There are a few creature comforts that were left in the car simply for convenience like the power windows and heater core. I actually still have the car registered and drive it on the street once in a while but it is definitely a racecar.
Avus blue paint in decent condition with some scratches present. Interior was all cleaned up and painted to match and looks great. The car has been proven to work for the last few years and I have never broken a transmission, differential or axle. The drivetrain was in a chassis that was crashed with a stock S52 with spacer and it made 515whp at 14 PSI. I run this built motor to about 16PSI so it is making a little more. At hillclimbs with 100 cars, this thing is usually in first or second place of top speeds, including all the formula cars and LSX powered cars. If you asked what could be improved I would say, thin the wiring harness, remove weight, more aero and more tire…but it is ready to rock the way it is!
