RARE Corvette Race Car Body (Low Reserve)
This rare Corvette SCCA Race Car body was removed from my vintage IMSA/Trans-am car prior to the car getting restored. This body is in fantastic shape for its age, showing very little wear. This lightweight Corvette Race Car Body was built by Competition Fiberglass, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is a fantastic design. Very strong for how little it weighs. This was an SCCA-approved body when new. This is the same body that was used by many of the well known SCCA Trans-Am Corvettes of the era.
This is not an original Chevrolet Corvette body. This body is a lightweight body use for racing with SCCA, IMSA, FIA and other sanctioning bodies. This fiberglass Corvette race car body would make a perfect spare for your race car, race car restoration, or modern vintage race car build. In addition, this body would make for awesome garage decoration given its brightly colored paint job.
CONDITION: This body is in fantastic condition for its age. Especially when considering that that body was used on a car that did wheel to wheel competition. The body does not show signs of being hit or damaged at any time.
