I am selling my homebuilt FSAE car. I do not have the time or money need to maintain and race it and have decided to sell it. I built this car on a budged so it doesn’t have all the fanciest gear but it does work. I have raced it in about 10 events (some of those being 2 driver) and have only had a failure once. I use it for AutoX racing in the FSAE class. The car does run and drive and I did an AutoX event in the 2017 fall getting the fastest time of the day.

This is a race car so things are going to break. I highly recommend the buyer to be mechanically savvy and be able to fix their own car.

Custom made fiberglass in decent shape (nosecone can be difficult to get on). Has wear on the body and some cracks.

Frame:

Custom made steel space frame painted red

Electrical cuttoff located on Frame

Wheels:
2 sets of 10in wheels:
1 set of Hoosiers, 1 set of golf cart tires (for storage and testing)

Problems:

-It needs new tires, current ones are pretty worn out.

-The tune need to be worked on, it breaks up a little at the high RPM.

-The starter gear is starting to wear out. You can get it started, but it sometimes makes some bad noise.

-The steering box is a little worn out.

-Battery never seems to hold a charge over 2 weeks

Again, I am being picky. I have raced many times with these “problems”. I just want to make you aware. I will only do local pickup.
