This car was restored in 2003-2004. Our goal was to take it to the 2004 Hotrod Reunion at Bakersfield. We were able to accomplish that. It was a class winner at the 55th annual Grand National Roadster show on January 25, 2004 at Pomona California. The trophy will go with the car. The last time we showed the car was at Nitro Night Ring Of Fire at Escondido CA. 2008.
This is an original car that raced back in the 1960’s. It is the first dragster that Kent Fuller built.
We needed help with the car and we met Rick MacDonald at Bakersfield helping other cacklers and found out he was living close to us. I talked to him about my car, and he was very helpful. He knows all about the car. The car has a fresh 392 Chrysler in it built by Rick MacDonald. He has offered his help with the car. He lives in Arizona now, but he is willing to talk to you and walk you through all of the steps on running the car. You can call him at 760-443-1439.
In 2006 we bought a 2007 model enclosed trailer for the car. Trailer comes with built in winch for ease of loading and unloading dragster. We only used it a couple times so it has about 4000 miles on it. Trailer is included. I bought a nose from a guy for dragster that goes with this package. My wife and I had a lot of fun with this car showing it off, but now it’s time to find a new home for it.
So this auction is for the AA/FD dragster and inclosed trailer.
