For 1989 chassis # SE88P-002 was sold to Racecraft Engineering and raced seven times in 1989 and eight times in 1990. At the end of 1990 the car was transferred to HDF and raced by Hugh Fuller at the last race of 1990 at Del Mar 11/11/1990. Fuller continued racing the Spice eight times through 1991. Late in 1991 the car was passed onto Carlos Bobeda and raced three times in 1991 and in four races for 1992. All toll ,this Spice raced fifty one times in IMSA, including four times in the 24 Hours of Daytona and three times in the 12 Hours of Sebring. Three wins, four top ten’s overall, nineteen top fives in Camel Light and one pole position over the six years in IMSA. Originally race with the Pontiac “Iron Duke” four, later the Buick V6 and last with the Chevrolet V8. The engine now installed in the car is a fresh professionally built 6.2 liter all aluminum, dry sump Chevrolet V8, Hewland FGC gearbox, AP brakes, hydraulic clutch, three full sets of original Gotti Wheels, spare nose, spare tail, four windshields, spare wing and many spare gear sets included with the sale. Except of the current paint color and the engine in the car it is totally original, as raced back in the late 1980’s- early 1990’s. The Spice will make a very competitive historic race car like it is equipped now or convert it back to either the Iron Duke or the Buick V6 for historic originality.
