I am listing this beauty for a longtime Saleen collector and friend. He has sold one of his warehouses and needs to downsize some of his very expansive collection (mostly Saleen’s and other super high performance vehicles) and has asked me to sell a few of the vehicles which I will be doing in the coming weeks, so PLEASE NO TRADE OFFERS. I own an automotive shop specializing in Mustang’s, Cobra’s, Saleen’s and Shelby’s for the past 30+ years and know this Saleen and Saleen products in general very well. I fly all around the world to appraise and evaluate Saleen, Shelby and other higher end collectible vehicles and collections. This is one of the 20 Saleen S1 Cup race cars built and this is the first time this has ever been offered for sale! This car won the Cup series and is a very famous car online, in many articles, and photographs. You can find many videos and pictures online. These cost over $500K each for Saleen to build. Carbon fiber body, TIG welded aluminum frame with double wishbone suspension and certified FIA full roll cage. All parts available still from Saleen in Corona CA as after these cars proved themselves in the race circuits, Saleen plans to still build a street version of these cars when they get EPA certification. This car is sold on a Bill of Sale only as a race car and can be raced in various classes. Will also come with an MSO from Saleen and does have a VIN #. This car has less than 25 total hours on it, This car was never wrecked! Several of the 20 were wrecked and 1 of them burned to the ground (so only 19 remaining). This car was only raced at Watkins Glenn, Elkhart Lake’s Road America, and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was thoroughly gone through by Saleen in December, 2022 and I have the paperwork that shows this that will also go with the car.
