1978 MRA Riley Super Vee (same Bob Riley of Riley Scott) No old Log Books  Have VARA log book from September 08  do not know if other books exist could be one of the previous owners may know about them . Comes with some documented history and old track sheets. This car is Race Capable today, it has significant history. It was the first US designed and built super Vee with ground effects. This is the Denny Moothart car that generated enough down force to collapse the side pods when first tested (see Autoweek Oct 12, 1981 “living the life of Riley”) Finished 6th in 1979  Gold Cup final standings Finished 4th & 3rd in last 2 races of 1979 (brainerd & Watkins Glen) At Watkins Glen beat the top 6 from Europe plus all the best in US except Geoff Brabham and Herm Johnson. Has qualified first in class at Willow springs and Button Willow Race ways Currently Has Fresh 1700cc engine, Hewland 4 speed (over 20 sets of gears included),Kugelfischer Mech fuel injection, Koni shocks, All Disc brakes, Full Tub chassis, some spare body panels and misc small parts. These cars are not to be confuses with Formula Vees these have real race car components Wings, Tunnels ,fuel injection, full tub chassis these pro series Cars were making 195Hp and ran speeds up to 175mph. This car is truly a piece of American racing history only 8 of these Proto Fab chassis were built and raced. This is the FIRST CAR built and raced. Built by Dennis Pratt of Protofab and Bob Riley for Denny Moothart of MRA racing (Hence MRA Riley) I have owned this car since 2008 and raced it in So Calif  with VARA Vintage racing assoc. Car is very Fast and fun to drive. Will fit Driver 6′.  Race ready needs fresh tires and fuel.
