Offered for sale is a 1971 Royale RP3A (chassis #1) Formula Ford 1600cc racecar w/ Webster 4 speed gearbox and a rich racing history. This is the first 1971 built, and is the ex Bill Scott SVRA car of McLean, Virginia. Only 20 of the RP3A’s were ever produced, of which 8 came to the U.S. It has been well kept and was last raced in 2013, at which time it was serviced and freshened, and has been in climate controlled storage since. It had recently undergone a restoration before we purchased the car, and it shows very well. The original fiberglass seat is included. However, if the new owner plans on racing the car a new seat should be fitted to the driver.
