1970 NSU TT race car. Fresh restoration, rare car. Car was only used once on track at VSCDA drivers ed. Passed tech with no problems. We have photo documentation of every step of the restoration and specs on everything.

Body: The car started as a 1970 NSU 1000C street car with little to no rust chassis #3670538194. Full SCCA roll cage installed and rear half seam welded for strength. Rear fender flares installed to allow for wider wheels and lower setup. Painted Diamantsilber Metallic-two part paint. Rear firewall cut and extended to allow for forward facing carbs. Fresh ATL Super Cell 100 8 gallon fuel cell in front of car to better distribute weight. Front mount Mercedes oil cooler. Ferrari challenge carbon fiber race seats. New SPA technique fire system(4L). Both windshields are glass and have tie Downs. Side windows are polycarbonate. New Sabelt driver harness and expired Sabelt passenger belt. Car can be street registered.

Electrical: 12-volt battery system. All electrical still works-lights, blinkers, wipers, etc. New Facet fuel pump and Holly regulator. Stock gauges retained and working, attometer tach and oil pressure gauge installed. Factory key switch for ignition and separate fuel on/off. Dual coil ignition.

Drivetrain: 1300cc race engine setup built by NSU expert Thomas Kugler. Isky race cam-Z-329 (intake 318′, exhaust 338′ duration). Schmidt Tuning short intake manifold with twin Weber 40 carbs. Twin plug heads from Germany with all new intake and exhaust valves and race springs. NSU TT high compression pistons 1200cc pistons, Molner rods (5.354″ Suzuki M16/M18 with APR2000 bolts). Stroker crank, full header system and open megaphone stainless race exhaust. Lightened flywheel and clutch assembly, aluminum race oil pan. Rev range is around 7,200-7,400-sounds great! The NACA duct and tubing is the intake for the engine because carbs now face towards front of car. We believe we burnt a piston or two due to hot spark plugs and engine is currently out of car but still assembled. We are willing to sell at current price with rebuilt engine or non-rebuilt for less.

Brakes/Suspension: stock rear drum brakes with front disc conversion. Wilwood dual piston brake master cylinder to allow for better adjustment. Stainless steel brake lines to wheels. Spax shocks in rear with front adjustable coil-overs. Wheels are NSU TTS racing wheels powder coated silver and wrapped in Hoosier TD-R tires. Front upper control arms cut and shortened to allow for more camber and wheel tuck.

Car is offered at $33,000.00 with rebuilt engine. Engine currently needs rebuild and price can be negotiated with non-rebuilt engine-and we can help with rebuild process. engine is currently out of car and we believe we holed a piston or two due to hot spark plugs. We will likely pull apart the engine in a week or so and will know more at that time.
