1965 Legrand MK3B

This car is Beautifully styled and constructed, the Colotti Gearbox is a work of art.

Legrand made a MK3C that was a FC car for SCCA racing , (similar to F3 in Europe) smaller displacement and wheels.

Legrand also made the MK3B , that was a FB car for SCCA racing, (similar to F2 in Europe) larger 1600CC displacement and wheels.

This one was always a FB car for North American racing , primarily SCCA.

In its original configuration , For Formula B, Legrand supplied adapters to install Alfa Romeo, or Ford based motors they were all 1600CC approx..

A Legrand MK3B won the 1965 national championship

Although original plate says 1963, These Legrands were thought to be built in 1965

Rebuilt in 1999 and has 10 hours use since
Post restoration this Legrand has only been used for five “Test and Tune Days” with the rest of the time being on display in a Heritage Vehicle Museum.
