For sale is this well prepared 1964 Corvette vintage race car.
This Corvette is sold with a VIN tag, title, and SCCA log book.
Most recently competed at Thompson Speedway in October of 2020, but also ran Lime Rock in July of 2020. Finished 10th overall with a best lap time of 1:03:035 at Lime Rock.
This Corvette is powered by a fresh wet sump Small Block Chevy engine. There are 2 events on this engine.
- Dart block
- Cast iron heads
- Shaft rockers
- MSD ignition with Digital 6AL control box
- Dyno sheet is available
- Engine is backed by a T-101A 4 speed dog ring transmission.
Rear differential is a freshly rebuilt 3:70 posi.
Clutch is a Tilton triple disc assembly with hydraulic release.
Steering this Corvette is easy thanks to a Borgeson power steering setup.
This Corvette was restored in late 2019-early 2020. The widened body panels are from Dynamic Corvettes. During the restoration process, the interior was refreshed, and a full rollcage was added. Exterior is finished in Torch Red basecoat / clearcoat. The custom vinyl graphics were installed at this time as well.
Before hitting the track, a 4 wheel alignment was completed.
This Corvette would need a race prep and general once-over before hitting the track. It wouldn’t take much to get this car race ready. It hs dialed in, handles well and performs all tasks as it should.
