This Alfa was a street car till 87. It was raced from 1988 through 2006 in SCCA. In 2001 it was restored to what you see today.
It was stripped down to bare metal as there is no undercoating anywhere on the vehicle. Epoxy paint was applied to the underside, engine bay, trunk & the interior. No rust and do not see any rust repair on the car.
In 2010 it was rebuilt by Winner Race Prep, Chris Deminco to go vintage racing. It ultimately only raced one event at the “Alfas At The Glen” in 2010.
The car was completely gone through at that time in 2010. Rebuilt engine using Veloce block & parts. Rebuilt transmission, rebuild suspension & installed locked diff. I have a spreadsheet with what was done to the engine.
The transmission is a Split Case 5 spd that was rebuilt in 2010. The rear end has 4:56 gears with a locked differential. The brakes have the three leading front shoes and the rear are two leading shoe. It has a dual master cylinder set-up.
Brakes were rebuilt with all new wheel cylinders & hoses in 2019. The clutch was replaced in 2019 as well as rebuilding the Dual Weber DCOE carbs. The fuel cell is from 2010.

Clear Title is in my name. I have a list of the past owners from 1987 to present. I had contacted ACCUS/FIA and paid the $1500 to have it inspected to see what it would take to get FIA papers. That is why a lot of the stock parts come with the sale of the car so the next person has that option to get FIA papers or maybe go back to street.
